Mer-Club 2022 Annual General Meeting in Sukarrieta
The Mer-Club Annual General Meeting took place last September in AZTI’s headquarters in Sukarrieta, Biscay. For the first time since the pandemic, consortium members had the opportunity to meet face to face and discuss important matters related to the project. During the two-day meeting, partners gave updates on the advances in the molecular and physiological characterization of the best candidates for Hg-detoxification identified in the project.
Consortium members also took the opportunity to discuss the next steps to upscale the process in microcosms and the future pilot plant, as well as the preparation of Scientific Manuscripts.
This was a great opportunity to catch up and keep working on the bioremediation of Hg-contaminated marine sediments!
